Get help
Life when your parents aren’t together can feel overwhelming. It’s important to remember that you’re not alone. It’s ok to ask for help. Ask Yuni, our AI Bot a question, explore our resources or visit our Get Help page.
Immediate help - 999
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 999.
Really struggling?
Your GP (doctor) is someone you can talk to. They can guide you to local mental health services, counselling, or other ways to feel better. You’re not expected to have all the answers or go through it alone. It’s enough to say, “I’m struggling.” That’s what they’re there for.
You can get more information and support from these charities: Shout, Childline and NSPCC.
Your Direction
Your Direction is a free online course designed specifically for young people with separated parents.
There are two versions—one for 12–17s and one for 18–30s—so you’ll get advice, tools and life skills that fit with where you're at.
It’s flexible, made by people who’ve been through it, and totally free. Learn more about Your Direction by watching this short video.
